Matty Innocent was looking for a new poster to promote their new club night in Middlesbrough. The theme was ‘balearic classics’. Balearic music is primarily associated with the island of Ibiza and is defined as ‘an undefinable, fluid, kaleidoscopic blend that defies genres, but more importantly reflects the values of the island’s permanent residents’.

We decided that the artwork would be synonymous with lazy evenings in the summer heat and in ‘three dimensions’ to represent the multi faceted aspect of the music that DJ Dave Strangeways plays.
